What is the PTO? GEMS PTO is an organization made up of parents, teachers and others around the community that share a special interest in our children.  The PTO works for our children, and teachers by volunteering at school during various activities throughout the school year.

Why should you get involved?  PTO membership is your key to being an involved and informed parent.  It enables you to have a voice in decisions that directly affect your children, school, and community.  The PTO provides you the opportunity to serve, thus contributing something meaningfull to your children.  Each opportunity helps our children and enriches the educational experience.   Each volunteer strengthens the PTO.  Membership creates a partnership between home, school and the community 

How can you benefit?  More than ever it is important to stay informed on what's happening on the Glen Este campus.  GEMS PTO is the best place to do that.  The PTO offers you a great opportunity to get to know teachers, administrators, your neighbors, and many others in the community.  Involvement demonstrates to your children that you value their education, and are concerned with their physical and emotional development as well. 

How do you get involved?  Membership is open to those concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children at GEMS.   Choose an area that best fits your family, your interests, and your time.  It is as easy as filling out the form.   Join the PTO, attend our meetings, involve youself with your child's educational experience.  The rewards are priceless....
